NITCO/SE/2026-27/22 dated July 23, 2026, pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 ("the Listing Regulations"), read with Schedule III thereto, informed that Nitco Limited ("the Company") had received an order from the Pollution Control Committee, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, directing the Company to pay Environmental Compensation of ₹14,25,000/- (Rupees Fourteen Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand only) for the alleged non-compliance with environmental standards. The Company has duly paid the said Environmental Compensation on April 28, 2026. The Company wishes to clarify that the aforesaid disclosure was submitted with a delay due to its initial interpretation that the disclosure requirements under Regulation 30 of the Listing Regulations were not applicable to orders issued by the Pollution Control Committee. However, upon further review and consultation with corporate advisors and considering the relevant SEBI circulars, it was decided that such disclosure requirements should also be extended to orders issued by the Pollution Control Committee.
