Performance Summary
▪ Fabtech enters H2 FY27 with its largest order book to date. Execution is weighted towards the second half, and H2
PAT is expected to be higher than H1 as milestones on larger projects are delivered and billed.
▪ Growth in H1 FY27 was broad-based, reflecting higher execution across pharma, data centre and solar projects, with
repeat orders flowing from existing customers.
▪ Order ticket sizes are increasing. In microelectronics, ticket sizes are growing as customers expand capacities, across
multiple orders. Even in life sciences, one of our established sectors, the Company has secured a marquee order with
a single-ticket magnitude of ₹90 crore. The Company is strengthening its team to build the profile and credibility
needed to win larger, higher-value mandates.
▪ Kelvin Air Conditioning & Ventilation Systems (60.20% subsidiary) continues to scale its HVAC business, with a sharp
focus on data centre orders alongside turnkey cleanroom HVAC for pharma and industrial clients.
▪ Data centres: the AI push is driving demand for high-density servers with higher cooling requirements, widening the
need for precision EPC players in HVAC and controlled environments, where Kelvin is building its presence.
▪ The Company, through its 28% associate AAR-T, is strengthening its semiconductor presence with its import-
substituting T-Grid technology, backed by specialised design and engineering capabilities. Despite margin pressures
from aluminium price volatility amid geopolitical turbulence, AAR-T and FCL strengthened their market positioning,
industry recognition and customer acceptance.
▪ The Company is extending its sector reach into automotive, medical devices, and electricals & electronic
components, adding to its established base in pharmaceuticals, biotech and healthcare and its newer verticals in data
centres and solar.
What affected our margins?
EBITDA margin held at 7.67% (H1 FY26: 7.60%). PAT margin stood at 3.86%, compared with 4.37% in H1 FY26, even as
absolute PAT grew 54.65%. The key factors were:
▪ Aluminium and key raw material prices: volatility in aluminium prices and other key raw material prices amid
geopolitical turbulence raised input costs on projects already contracted at fixed values. The supply chain remains
challenged; higher volumes helped offset part of this impact.
▪ Reference-led pricing in new sectors: projects in non-pharma verticals continued to be priced competitively to
establish credentials with marquee customers, which are now converting into a larger pipeline.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management
▪ Trade receivables of ₹129.10 Crore as on 30th September 2026 reflect higher execution and milestone-linked payments
on strategic reference-building projects. As these projects near completion, the Company expects greater order
selectivity, stronger pricing power, improved commercial terms and enhanced working capital efficiency by March–
April 2027.
▪ The Company has secured much-enhanced banking facilities to fund the larger order book, supporting working capital
needs as execution scales up in H2 FY27.
Growth Outlook
▪ Order book of ~₹470 Crore, more than double the ₹199 Crore reported as on 31st March 2026. The hot pipeline stands
at ₹600 Crore out of a total offered pipeline of ₹1,250 Crore, remains strong on both the upstream and downstream
fronts, and the Company is gearing up for larger tickets.
▪ Management expects to recover the margin compression through higher volumes in Q3 and Q4 FY27. H2 FY27 PAT
is expected to be higher than H1, aided by execution phasing, operating leverage on a larger revenue base and
stabilising input costs.
▪ Manufacturing capacity is being strengthened through the new Hyderabad facility.
“In H1 FY27, our revenue from operations grew by nearly 75%, and we enter the second half with an order book of around
₹470 Crore – the strongest in our history. Order ticket sizes are rising, repeat orders are flowing and our hot pipeline stands
at ₹600 Crore. With Kelvin driving data centre orders, AAR-T opening doors in semiconductors, and new sectors such as
automotive, medical devices and electronics coming into our pipeline, we expect higher volumes in Q3 and Q4 to recover
margins and deliver a stronger H2. The enhanced banking facilities we have put in place give us the financial headroom to
execute at this larger scale.”
— Anup Manohar Munshi, Chief Executive Officer
