Q2 FY26-27
RESULTS
MANAGEMENT NOTE
We are pleased to report continued progress in the second quarter of FY 2026-27. Revenue for Q2 was Rs. 54.11 crore,
representing growth of approximately 26% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the first half, revenue of
Rs. 111.95 crore was approximately 36% higher than the corresponding period of the previous year, and profit after tax for
the first half was Rs. 5.74 crore, compared with Rs. 1.85 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Growth during the quarter was broad based across our business segments. Oilfield Chemicals remained our largest segment,
supported by steady demand in international markets and the commercialisation of new products. Home & Personal Care
continued its strong performance, with quarterly revenue nearly three times that of the corresponding quarter of the previous
year, supported by sustained export demand.
Paints & Coatings and Textiles recovered well from the first quarter, in line with the improvement we had indicated.
Agrochemicals followed its usual seasonal pattern after a strong first quarter, with new product development progressing well.
Margins during the quarter were moderated by higher raw material and freight costs. Renewed geopolitical tensions in the
Middle East drove a sharp rise in crude oil prices through the quarter, which increased the cost of key petrochemical
feedstocks, including ethylene oxide. The disruption to regional shipping routes, together with reduced vessel capacity and
port congestion, also led to a significant increase in ocean freight rates on our export shipments. We continue to work closely
with our customers on pricing and to optimise our sourcing and logistics to manage these pressures.
On the manufacturing front, our Dahej facility achieved record production in its ethoxylation operations during the quarter,
and the capacity expansion commissioned in Q1 is now being utilised. We also continued to strengthen our safety and
sustainability practices, including progress on our Responsible Care programme.
We remain focused on building on the momentum of the first half, deepening customer relationships across our segments,
and driving sustainable, profitable growth for our shareholders.
