Saroj Punhani (DIN: 08922018) as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Independent Director of KCCL for a first term of 5 consecutive years w.e.f. 30th October, 2026 to 29th October, 2031 (both dates inclusive) subject to the approval of the Members of the KCCL by way of Special Resolution. The disclosures as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations read with SEBI Master Circular no. KCCL has considered and approved the issue of 2,125 Equity Shares of face value of Rs. 10/- each at an issue price of Rs. 36,000/- (Rupees Thirty-Six Thousand only) aggregating to Rs. 7,65,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Crore Sixty- Five Lakh only) on a rights issue basis to the existing shareholders. As per the approval of Board of KCCL, the date of Right issue offer letter is 30th October, 2026 and the right issue offer will remain open from 3th November, 2026 to 9th November, 2026 (both days inclusive) for the existing shareholders of the KCCL. Saroj Punhani is a distinguished former officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service, 1984 batch, with nearly four decades of extensive experience in auditing, accounting, public administration, financial management, and governance. She holds a Master of Science degree in Botany from Miranda House, University of Delhi, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Master of Philosophy degree from the Indian Institute of Public Administration. During her illustrious career in the civil services, she held several senior and prestigious positions, including that of Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (HR and Training) in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. She also served on deputation with various Central Government Ministries and public sector organisations, gaining extensive experience in policy implementation, institutional administration, and public sector governance. Subsequently, she served as the Central Information Commissioner at the Central Information Commission from November 2020 to November 2023, further strengthening her expertise in transparency, accountability, and regulatory governance. Smt.
