Chairman Message
Dhanuka Agritech is a leading Indian agrochemical company. Dhanuka is working with the vision of Transforming India through Agriculture. We have
a Pan-India presence in all major states to reach out to more than 10 million farmers with our products and services. Dhanuka’s key focus has been
on introduction of novel chemistries and extensive product development distinguishing us from the rest of the industry.
With four manufacturing units and 41 warehouses across India, we cater to around 6,500 distributors and 80,000 retailers. Dhanuka has a strong
Sales and Marketing team to promote and develop new products. Over last couple of years we have set up, 2 research and technology centers to
enhance our focus on innovation and research. One of the centers is focused on applied chemistry and working for establishment of new products
and new formulation development. The second laboratory is focused on innovation in process technology for generic and late stage patented
products.
Agrochemical sector in India is experiencing a weak and highly subdued earnings season for the second Quarter of FY 2026-27. Performance across
major players is impacted by erratic and uneven monsoon rainfall, and persistently high raw material procurement costs. The monsoon rainfall was
lower by a sharp 13% with significant regional and monthly variations across key agricultural belts. This has led to compressed volumes and margins
across the industry. This weather disturbance significantly disrupted traditional farming cycles, delayed crop-care applications, and led to a marked
contraction of consumption at farmer level. Due to the dry weather, performance of herbicides was significantly impacted while Insecticides segment
has grown.
Despite all these challenges, I am pleased to report that our company delivered resilient performance. Our diversified geographic footprint allowed
us to capture demand from regions which had availability of water resources.
Further, Our Dahej Plant will hit 70.75% capacity utilization by this financial year end. So, we will be doing capacity expansion within this unit. In
addition, the Dahej Plant will also commence manufacturing the products acquired from Bayer AG.
At Dhanuka, we continue to believe that sustainable business growth must go hand in hand with farmer prosperity and national food security. Our
continued engagement with Agriculture Universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendra’s, and other scientific institutions remains an important part of our farmer
education and technology dissemination efforts.
I would like to thank all our investors, analysts, business partners, and stakeholders for their continued trust and confidence in Dhanuka Agritech
Limited. Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali and Festive season ahead.
