As the Bank clarified in its earlier filing with the stock exchanges on 14 October 2026, the Bank has not been served with such a suit. The Bank has also not been served with the interim applications that were subject of today’s press inquiries. In both cases, the Bank maintains that it cannot comment on the contents of pleadings or interim applications that it has not been served with and that have not been heard before the court. As a matter of principle, it would be improper for the Bank to respond to untested allegations in relation to court proceedings in public media. It appears from the website of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court that both the suit and the interim applications filed by Dr. BR Shetty are either yet to be scrutinized or registered by the Hon’ble Bombay High Court. As such, the allegations remain untested until such time that a Court considers them in accordance with law. Contents of the suit and interim applications appear to have been selectively disseminated to the news media on the eve of the announcement of the Bank’s quarterly results with an improper intention. The Bank will take appropriate steps in relation to such dissemination. We request you to take note of the above pursuant to SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 and upload the information on your website.
