PRESS RELEASE In spite of prevailing war situation, Mold-Tek Packaging Limited achieved a strong start to FY 2026-27, delivering an excellent performance in the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. Driven by an improved EBDITA through higher capacity utilization and consolidation of units in Hyderabad. Despite heightened geopolitical uncertainties during the quarter, the Company experienced no material impact on its operations, supply chain, or financial performance, with higher input costs are effectively passed on to customers. Segment-wise Volume growth of Q1 FY27 (compared to Q1 FY26): e Pharma Packs, a new vertical, posted a strong 38.75% sales volume growth. The quick acceptance highlights our innovation and speed-to-market capabilities. ¢ Food & FMCG Packs registered a healthy 26.20% growth, driven by sustained demand and deeper market penetration e Paints Packs delivered a remarkable 10.82% growth, showcasing robust demand and customer confidence e Lube Packs-Due to supply issues of client’s inputs caused by Iran war, the demand for Lube companies has dipped in this quarter. Announcing the results, Chairman & Managing Director Mr J Lakshmana Rao said: "This strong all-round performance reflects Mold-Tek's unwavering focus on operational excellence, and strategic consolidation of Units in Hyderabad which are now translating into improved profitability. The Company remains confident of maintaining this positive momentum in the coming quarters, supported by healthy demand across key segments (i.e., Pharma and Food and FMCG), and continued emphasis on operational efficiencies. “EBITDA per kg reached “HISTORICAL HIGH” of Rs. 46.68 in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs. 41.64 per kg in the QI of FY26, driven by better capacity utilisation, consolidation of Hyderabad Units and higher contribution from the high-margin Pharma Packaging business." Consolidation of Hyderabad Units: Company during last 6 months has consolidated 5 units in Hyderabad into 2 major units i.e., at Annaram and Sultanpur. This brought all printing activities under one roof resulting in reduced overheads inter-unit transfer and rejections. This along with capacity utilisation reaching 75% and resulted in improved EBIDTA margins to a record level of Rs 46.68 per kg in spite of adverse geopolitical upheavals. Further, Pharma recorded a healthy volume growth of 38.75% over Q1 of last year and adding new clients rapidly. Company is planning entry into Ophthalmic-Packs and other medical devices. PRESS RELEASE Commenting on Pharma packing plans Mr J Rana Pratap, Sr. Vice President-Marketianngd in_charge of Pharma Business division Said “there is a humongous opportunity in Pharma Packaging including diagnostics and we have plans to enter into these high margin areas including dosage pens. We also examining ways to enter Electronics and Semi-conductor packaging soon to use our deep knowledge in Mold making and Robotics.” While consolidating its position as leader in pails, Q-packs and Thinwall IML products, Company vision is to expand into high value products and widen product range. Pharma Packaging — Product Development, Capacity & Business Update: To meet the growing demand in the Pharma Packaging segment, the Company commissioned additional Molding Machines and Assembly Machine in QI. This capacity enhancement will support increased production, strengthen operational capabilities, and enable the Company to cater to the expanding requirements of its pharmaceutical customers. FOOD AND FMCG: To cater to the growing demand in the Food & FMCG segment, the Company commissioned eight additional new injection moulding machines at its Sultanpur, Hyderabad facility towards the end of the 1“ quarter. This capacity expansion is expected to support future volume growth and enhance operational efficiency. The Food and FMCG packs production at Panipat started few months ago has been doubled and Company focusing on higher growth in this segment in Northern India market. Mold-Tek continues to offer innovative, value-added packaging solutions to a diversified customer base in the Food & FMCG segment Printing Update: Following the successful elimination of in-house printing label capacity bottlenecks, the Company focused on optimizing label transportation and logistics across its manufacturing units in India. Through strategic logistics planning and commercial negotiations, transportation costs by road and air, which had increased significantly in earlier quarters, have been substantially reduced. Simultaneously, the Company’s consolidation and process improvements to reduce printing wastages, resulting in enhanced operational efficiency, and improved cost optimization. Paint Segment: The outlook for the Paints segment also remains encouraging, with market leaders Asian Paints anticipating steady industry volume growth of 8%-10%, supported by continued infrastructure spending and pre-festive dealer stocking.
