According to YKK India, this will be the third manufacturing plant in the country and will be spread across approximately 149,936 square metres with total investment amount of USD 150 million within the integrated industrial cluster. The facility is expected to be completed by February 2028. With YKK India joining a growing roster of global manufacturers including Mitsubishi Electric, Yanmar and Omron, Origins by Mahindra, Chennai continues to strengthen its position as a preferred destination for international manufacturing investments in India.
