company, today announced that it has been ranked No. 13 among the Top 20 Global Employers in
biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and related industries in the 2026 survey
conducted by the prestigious U.S.-based Science magazine.
This recognition reflects Biocon’s long-standing reputation as an employer of choice in the global life
sciences industry. Since making its debut on the highly regarded Science Careers Top Employers list in
2012, Biocon has consistently featured among the industry’s leading employers.
In the 2026 survey, Biocon was recognized for three key attributes: social responsibility, respect for

contribute diverse perspectives and expertise to Biocon’s mission of delivering life-changing medicines
to patients around the world.
About the Survey
The Science and Science Careers’ 2026 Top Employers Survey polled employees in biotechnology,
biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and related industries to determine the 20 best employers as well
as their driving characteristics. Respondents to the web-based survey were asked to rate companies
based on 24 characteristics that cover categories such as corporate image, financial prowess,
leadership and direction, and work culture/environment.
The rankings are determined from a study conducted by an independent research firm commissioned by
the Science/AAAS Office of Publishing.
The findings are based on approximately 5,100 completed surveys. A vast majority of the survey
participants came from North America (71%), Europe (19%), and Asia/Pacific Rim (6%).
Survey responses were analyzed by U.S.-based The Brighton Consulting Group, which used a
mathematical process to determine the driving characteristics of a top employer and to assign a unique
score to rate each company’s employer reputation.
The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is the world’s largest general
scientific society and publisher of the journal Science.
