Brief Profile Mr. Rahul Prabhakar Desai is a seasoned top-management professional with over 30 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing sector, including more than 17 years in senior leadership roles including CEO. He brings deep expertise in plant operations excellence, strategic planning and execution, business development, P&L ownership and people leadership. Most recently, Mr. Desai served as Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer at Pinnacle Industries Limited, leading operations across five plants with end-to-end P&L accountability. Earlier, he was Chief Executive Officer at CIE India for nearly a decade, overseeing the Magnetic Products, Composites and Stamping divisions across ten plants. He has also held senior operational leadership positions at GKN Sinter Metals Limited and Inteva Products India. Across his career, he has successfully led greenfield projects, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma deployment, cost- optimisation programmes and ESG initiatives, while building high-performing teams and delivered sustainable growth through strategic partnerships with leading global OEMs. Mr. Desai holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
