Dear Sir"adam,
With reference to our earlier intimation dated February 01, 2025, wherein the Company had informed that
Bansal Steel & Power Limited (BSPL), Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) of Bansal Wire Industries Limited
has received a GST Notice in Form GST DRC-07 imposing a penalty of Rs. 50,99,895/- under Section 74 of
the GST Act, 2017 along with tax liability of Rs. 57,77,896/-and interest of Rs. 89,94,666/-pertaining to the
financial year 2017-18 and subsequently, BSPL has received a rectification interest demand of Rs.
16,88,804/-and reducing the GST liability to NIL. The said rectification demand had been duly disclosed by
the Company in its Integrated Corporate Governance Report submitted to the Stock Exchange(s).
In accordance with the section 107 of the CGST/SGST Act, 2017 read with section 20 of IGST Act, 2017,
Joint Commissioner of State Tax (Appeals), Cum-Appellate Authority, Rohtak has accepted the BSPL's
(WOS) appeal against the demand of Rs. 16,88,804/-and order has been received in favour of the BSPL
(WOS) reducing the Interest demand of Rs. 16,88,804/-to NIL` vide its order dated July 25, 2026, and the
case has been closed.
The details as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations is attached as Annexure-A.
