Commenting on the results, Amar Sinha, Managing Director of ABD, stated, “Q2FY27 marked an
important milestone for ABD, with quarterly volumes crossing 10 million cases for the first time,
supported by growth across segments. Also, we continued to invest in expanding our super-premium
and luxury portfolio, including brand-building and distribution initiatives. The recent commissioning
of our capacity-expansion projects has further strengthened our manufacturing capabilities and is
expected to improve supply-chain efficiency and margin accretion. With the festive season ahead, we
expect the topline growth momentum to continue. We remain focused on driving operational
efficiencies and the disciplined execution of our capex programme, while closely monitoring
inflationary trends.”

Performance Review for Q2FY27 and Recent Developments:

• Delivered 10.0 million cases in Q2FY27, compared to 9.0 million cases in Q2FY26, reflecting
overall volume growth of 11.1%, with growth across Mass Premium & Others and Prestige &
Above (P&A) categories.
• This strong volume growth momentum has been visible through H1FY27, during which we
achieved record monthly sales on three occasions, culminating in our highest-ever monthly
volume of over 3.5 million cases in September 2026.
• Premiumization momentum continued, with the P&A value segment salience at 58% in
H1FY27, compared to 56% in H1FY26 while P&A volume salience is 46% in H1FY27, compared
to 47% in H1FY26.
• Growth across key domestic and international markets driven by millionaire brands.
• ICONiQ White has been to be the world’s fastest-growing Millionaire Whisky Brand across three
consecutive calendar years—2023, 2024 and 2025. Volumes reached 3.2 million cases in
Q2FY27, up 20.6% from 2.6 million cases in Q2FY26, with average monthly volumes continuing
to exceed 1 million cases.
2) Premium Whisky Portfolio: Launch of The Indian Edit
• Launched in September 2026, The Indian Edit strengthens ABD’s premium whisky portfolio,
blending Indian malt and grain spirits with fine Scotch malts and featuring packaging inspired
by Indian heritage.
• Available in Maharashtra, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Rajasthan and Goa, with
further expansion to other markets, the brand has received an encouraging response from
trade partners and consumers.
• Offered in 180 ml, 500 ml and 750 ml SKUs, the 750 ml pack is priced at ₹1,550 in Maharashtra.
3) Officer’s Choice Blue: Refreshed Identity with Premium Packaging

bottle, a transparent label with matte gold foiling and an embossed “Trusted Since 1988”
marker, celebrating its legacy while retaining its promise of quality and consistency.
• Rolled out from September 2026 across Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana and West
Bengal, the refreshed packaging has received an encouraging customer response, with more
markets to follow in phases.
4) Commissioning of Bottling Unit in Moradabad: Strengthening Manufacturing Presence in Uttar
Pradesh
• In October 2026, ABD commenced commercial operations at its bottling facility in Moradabad,
Uttar Pradesh, with an initial capacity of 6 million cases per annum. The facility was part of
the assets acquired in January 2026 for ~ ₹70 crore and was subsequently upgraded with an
investment of ~ ₹40 crore.
• The facility strengthens ABD’s in-house bottling capabilities in one of its key markets and is
expected to improve service efficiency while delivering cost benefits through increased in-
house bottling and savings on franchise fees.
5) Commissioning of Malt Distillery in Rangapur: Strengthening Captive Malt Capabilities
• In October 2026, ABD commissioned its captive malt distillery at Rangapur, Telangana, with an
investment of ~ ₹75 crore and an annual capacity of ~ 4.0 million bulk litres. The facility is
integrated with ABD’s existing manufacturing complex, which also houses an ENA distillery, an
IMFL bottling unit and a PET bottle manufacturing plant.
• The distillery is expected to support the captive malt requirements of ABD’s growing P&A
portfolio, reduce dependence on external sourcing and support the development of its future
single malt whisky portfolio.
6) International Markets: Expanding Presence across Geographies
• 1st International manufacturing facility: In August 2026, ABD announced its first overseas
local production arrangement for Officer’s Choice Blue in Malaysia through an asset-light co-
