HISTORY
For 125 years, Royal Enfield has been guided by a simple yet
enduring belief: that motorcycling is not just about going from
A to B, it’s about how the ride makes you feel. This conviction
has shaped every machine we’ve built, every community we’ve
nurtured and every journey we’ve enabled across
generations of riders.
Reaching this milestone tells the story of a company that has
continuously evolved with the times while staying rooted in
its core philosophy. From humble beginnings — one machine,
one market, one idea — we have grown into a global force. Today,
we are present in more than 80 countries, with a portfolio that
spans roadsters, cruisers, adventure tourers and now, electric
motorcycles. From one motorcycle to many. From India to the
world. This is more than just growth; it is a transformation
achieved without ever losing sight of who we are.
Our geography alone tells a remarkable story. What began in
Britain and found its home in India has since travelled across
GLOBAL continents — taking root in the mountain communities of the
Himalayas, the coastal highways of Latin America, the city
streets of Southeast Asia and the open highways of Europe
and Australia. Today, Royal Enfield is the undisputed leader in
the global midsize motorcycle segment, not because we
chased every market, but because we built something
authentic. Our motorcycles are built with purpose, not just
precision. Riders in Brazil, Thailand and New Zealand are
FOOTPRINT
drawn to the same thing that captivated riders
in Chennai and Chandigarh decades ago.
Our journey is one of quiet, continuous evolution. From the
legendary Bullet — the longest-running motorcycle in
continuous production — to the Himalayan, which created a
new category of accessible adventure; from the 650 Twins,
which cemented our global leadership, to the Flying Flea, our
first foray into electric mobility. Each generation of
motorcycles has reflected its era while honouring what came
before. And through it all, our Royal Enfield community has
always been part of the process, shaping our motorcycles
through their experiences, feedback and journeys. Royal Enfield
motorcycles have always been built for riders, by riders.
EVOLUTION
The relationship between company and our community is the
foundation of everything we do. It has grown organically over
125 years and cannot be manufactured or marketed — only
nurtured. Our community does not just ride our motorcycles;
it carries the culture forward. It brings the joy of
Pure Motorcycling to every corner of the earth, ensuring this
visceral experience finds everyone who seeks it.
In its 125th year, Royal Enfield continues to deliver consistent
growth, record revenues and a brand value that ranks among the
strongest in the global automotive industry. But what no
balance sheet can capture is the millions of riders across the
COMMUNITY world who do not just own a Royal Enfield, but belong to a global
community because of it.
This is the truest measure of our 125 years. Not the numbers, but
the feeling those numbers represent. This is our legacy. This is
our foundation. And this is where our next chapter begins.
& FUTURE Pure Motorcycling since 1901.
