Maruti Suzuki India Limited Financial Results Q2 and H1 FY 2026-27
New Delhi, October 27, 2026: The Board of Directors of Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) today approved the
financial results for the period Q2 (July-September) FY 2026-27.
Highlights: Q2 (July-September), FY 2026-27
The Company achieved its highest-ever quarterly total sales volume of 696,654 units, registering a growth of
26.5% over the same period previous year. The Company’s growth in the domestic passenger vehicle market was
broad-based, with small car sales increasing by 35.9% and SUV sales by 68.2%. The Company’s recently introduced
SUVs received a strong market response and contributed to this robust growth. The Company’s domestic market
share increased by 2.2 percentage points to 40.8%. Recent capacity additions have enabled the Company to serve
the strong demand. Even with enhanced production capacity, demand continued to outpace supply resulting in a
low network inventory of about 17 days and pending bookings of about 200,000 units at the end of the quarter.
In export markets, despite the challenging geopolitical situation, the Company could achieve sales of 108,119
units in Q2 FY 2026-27, as compared to 110,487 units in Q2 FY25-26.
During the quarter, the Company registered its highest-ever Net Sales of INR 506,155 million against INR 401,358
million in the same period of the previous year.
The Operating Profit (EBIT) in the quarter stood at INR 28,037 million as compared to INR 33,820 million in Q2
FY25-26 owing to West-Asia conflict linked commodity increases. Sequentially this translated to a growth of
10.8% from Q1 FY26-27 to Q2 FY26-27.
However, non-operating income declined sharply in Q2 owing to mark-to-market losses on invested surplus.
With this, the Net Profit for the quarter stood at INR 24,149 million compared to INR 33,028 million the same
period previous year.
Highlights: H1 (April-September), FY 2026-27
During this period, the Company achieved its highest-ever half-yearly sales volume of 1,379,378 units, registering
a growth of 27.9% year-on-year. This comprised record half-yearly domestic sales of 1,146,523 units and exports
of 232,855 units.
The Company posted its highest-ever half-yearly Net Sales of INR 1,005,746 million in H1 FY 2026-27 as compared
to INR 767,564 million in H1 FY 2025-26.
Net Profit in H1 FY 2026-27 was at INR 57,670 million as against INR 70,609 million in H1 FY 2025-26.
