Phone: +912068198464 By way of an update, we understand that the Authority suo moto dropped the charges under Section 105 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 against Mr. Kadam, which was the only non-bailable offence alleged against him. Mr. Kadam has since been released from custody of the Authority on bail bond on October 22, 2026, pur- suant to an order of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Vadgaon Maval, Pune. We have also been informed by Mr. Kadam that he has filed a Criminal Application before the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay (“High Court”) inter alia for quashing of the Authority’s investigation against him. The Hon’ble High Court, by way of an interim order dated October 23, 2026, has stayed further investigation against Mr. Kadam and directed the Authority not to file any chargesheet or supplementary chargesheet against him.
