Ltd. – A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Websol Energy System Limited, Appoints Vinay Vyas as CEO Kolkata, October 22, 2026: Websol Energy System Limited, one of India's legacy manufacturers of solar cells and modules, has announced the appointment of Mr. Vinay Vyas as Chief Executive Officer of its wholly owned subsidiary, Websol Renewables Pvt Ltd. Mr. Vyas brings over 18 years of experience in renewable energy and energy storage. He has worked on a clean energy portfolio of more than 8 GW, valued at ₹24,000 crore, and led the development of what is described as the world's first integrated green hydrogen and ammonia project at ACME Cleantech. His roles have included Chief Executive Officer of FusionX Energy, Group Lead (Vice President) for renewable power, BESS and green hydrogen at Welspun Group, and Director of the Global Renewable Energy Center at Canadian Solar. He also chaired the Energy Storage Committee at the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) in 2025. Websol crossed ₹1,000 crore in revenue in FY26 and plans to take its manufacturing capacity to 5,350 MW of solar cells and 4,550 MW of modules by 2028.
