Commenting on the results, Mr. Gunender Kapur, Founder, Chief Executive
Officer and Managing Director said:
“We delivered another strong quarter, supported by the strength of our own-brand offerings,
our customer-first approach and disciplined execution. Demand conditions remained steady
despite renewed inflationary pressures across key raw material categories and an uneven
monsoon. Our differentiated merchandise, compelling price positioning and deep
understanding of customer needs continued to resonate with shoppers, reinforcing the
resilience of our business.
For Q2 FY27, revenue from operations grew by 14.0% to Rs. 3,398.5 crores. SSSG stood at
5.4%. The festivals this year have shifted from Q2 to Q3. This has an impact of 3-4% on SSSG.
Adjusting for that, SSSG will be about 9%.
For H1FY27, revenue from operations grew by 16.4% to Rs. 7,125.5 crores. SSSG stood at
7.7%. The festivals this year have shifted from H1 to H2. This has an impact of 1.5-2% on
SSSG. Adjusting for that, SSSG will be about 9.5%.
PAT for Q2FY27 grew by 3.7% to Rs. 157.9 crores and for H1FY27, grew by 16.3% to Rs.
416.6 crores. PAT growth was achieved despite lower fixed-cost absorption due to the shift in
festive buying to Q3 and inflationary pressures during the quarter.
We continued to advance our store expansion strategy, adding 26 gross new stores during the
quarter and 53 during the half year. In Q2, we launched the first pilot store of ‘Belong & Co.’,
our new apparel format catering to young, affluent urban consumers, with a distinct brand
proposition offering effortless fashion.
We had a strong start to the festivals and this has reinforced our confidence in the demand
momentum as we approach Diwali and the wedding season. Looking ahead, we remain focused
on capturing growth opportunities while staying agile in an evolving geopolitical and
inflationary environment. By strengthening our merchandise offering, enhancing supply chain
efficiency and maintaining disciplined cost management, we aim to continue delivering
compelling customer value and sustainable, profitable growth.”
