CG delivers another strong quarter with broad-based growth;
Revenue and PBT1 crosses new Q1 high, with continued
operating momentum
CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited (“CG”) today announced its financial results for the
quarter ended June 30, 2026, delivering another quarter of strong and profitable growth.
Q1FY27 sales grew 16% YoY and PBT1 grew 27% YoY with 140 bps margin
expansion, delivering a strong start to the year
Order momentum continued during the quarter with the order book rising 45%
YoY to INR 17,333 Cr and offering multi-quarter revenue visibility
Sales of INR 3,061 Cr, EBITDA of INR 518 Cr and PBT1 of INR 487 Cr achieved in
the quarter is the highest ever for Q1 in recent times1
FINANCIAL RESULTS (STANDALONE)
Q1FY27 Performance
• Aggregate sales for the quarter were higher at INR 3,061 Cr recording a growth of 16%
• PAT was higher with a growth of 27% at INR 364 Cr (11.9% of sales) as against INR 286
Cr (10.8% of sales) in Q1FY26
• ROCE2 (Return on capital employed - annualised) for the quarter was at 23%
• Order intake for the quarter was INR 4,692 Cr and Unexecuted Order backlog as of
30th June 2026 was INR 17,333 Cr (45% higher YoY)

Q1FY27 Performance
• Aggregate sales for the quarter were at INR 1,671 Cr (6% YoY), with strong double-digit
growth in Motors
• PBIT was at INR 148 Cr (8.8% of sales) as against INR 172 Cr (10.9% of sales) in
Q1FY26
• Margin deviation is largely due to one-off provision of INR 20 Cr in Railways business
• Order intake for the quarter was INR 1,586 Cr and Unexecuted Order backlog, as of
30th June 2026 was INR 2,899 Cr
• Double digit growth YoY in orders in Motors

Q1FY27 Performance
• Aggregate sales for the quarter were higher at INR 1,402 Cr with YoY increase of 31%,
reflecting strong execution discipline
• PBIT was at INR 324 Cr (23.1% of sales) as against INR 225 Cr (21.1% of sales) in
Q1FY26
• Strong margin expansion by 209 bps, reflecting disciplined execution and strong
operating leverage
• Order intake for the quarter was at INR 3,106 Cr and Unexecuted Order Backlog as of
30th June 2026 was INR 14,434 Cr (59% higher YoY), offering revenue visibility spanning
several future quarters

FINANCIAL RESULTS (CONSOLIDATED)
Consolidated results include the performance of the operating Subsidiaries at Sweden, Germany and
Netherlands (Drives and Automation Europe), CG DE Sub LLC, CG Adhesive Products Ltd (India), CG
Semi Private Limited (India), G.G. Tronics India Private Limited, Axiro Semiconductor Group, and other
non-operating subsidiaries.
Q1FY27 Performance
• Aggregate sales for the quarter were up at INR 3,281 Cr at a growth of 14% YoY
• PAT was 16% higher at INR 308 Cr (9.4% of sales) for the quarter as against INR 267 Cr
(9.3% of sales) in Q1FY26
• Margin gains driven by strong standalone performance were partially offset by
continued investment in the talent pool for semiconductor businesses (total
semiconductor segment impact of 43 Cr, 132 bps)
• ROCE3 (Return on capital employed – annualised) for the quarter was at 20%
• Order intake for the quarter was at INR 5,211 Cr and Unexecuted Order backlog as of
30th June 2026 was 45% higher YoY at INR 18,965 Cr

Key events
1. CG, on 4th June 2026, announced the commissioning of its extra high voltage (EHV)
switchgear manufacturing facility, S3 Unit-II, in Pimpalgaon Garudeshwar, Nashik,
Maharashtra. This is in addition to the S3 Unit-I manufacturing facility at Ambad,
Nashik which manufactures EHV circuit breakers in the 33kV to 800kV. The new facility
will manufacture EHV Circuit Breakers in the 33 kV to 245 kV range and expands CG's
EHV circuit breaker manufacturing capacity by 80% (incremental 7,200 units annually
vs. existing 9,000 units annually). Equipped with advanced manufacturing and testing
infrastructure, including 500 kV and 350 kV high-voltage testing laboratories, the
Facility has been designed to meet the growing demand for reliable power
transmission equipment across domestic and international markets.

2. CG Semi Private Limited (CG Semi), a subsidiary of the CG Power and Industrial
Solutions Ltd. announced the commencement of commercial production at its G1
Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test facility in Sanand on 4th July 2026. The
launch was held in the august presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri
Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendra Patel and Hon’ble
Minister of Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information
Technology Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw.
3. S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP are the statutory auditors of Tube Investments of India
Limited (“TII” or “Holding Company”) as of date, and they will demit office as auditors
after completion of 10 years period, in terms of the provisions relating to rotation of
auditors with respect to Section 139 of the Companies Act, 2013, upon the conclusion
of the ensuing AGM of TII proposed to be held on August 14, 2026. Consequent to the
above, CG proposes to align its statutory auditors with those affiliated to the same
network as appointed by its Holding Company (i.e., TII) consistent with the practice
adopted by various groups, to enable better coordination with the Holding Company’s
auditors and bring efficiency and synergy to the audit process, given the relative
