The aforesaid pledge has been created as security in connection with the term loan facility of ~225 crores availed by the Company from lender towards financing the acquisition of equity shares of Kronox. The Company presently holds 2,38,44,000 equity shares, representing 64.26% of the paid-up equity share capital of Kronox. The creation of the aforesaid pledge does not result in any change in the shareholding or control of the Company in Kronox, which continues to remain a subsidiary of the Company.
