Respected Sir / Madam, This is with reference to the social media post by FSSAI dated 17 October 2026 (11:08 AM IST), and various media articles stating that FSSAI has initiated legal proceedings for prosecution against the Company, among others. The Company sets out below the facts as they appear in the laboratory reports and FSSAI correspondence, and its position. Factual position on record Point Position on record Record Sample A 500 ml sample of the Company's "Full Cream Milk" FSSAI letter of 23 was drawn by FSSAI on 09 January 2026 from the March 2026; Company's facility at Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul, Tamil referral Nadu. The best-before date marked on the sample is laboratory report 12 January 2026. Primary The report dated 20 January 2026 (Monarch Nuclear Primary laboratory Counting Laboratory) classified the sample as laboratory report; "substandard" on one parameter, milk fat. The same FSSAI intimation report records adulterants, including detergent and of 16 February neutralizers, as absent. 2026 Referral On the Company's appeal in Form VIII, the sample was Referral laboratory referred to the National Food Laboratory, Navi laboratory report; Mumbai. FSSAI forwarded the report by letter dated 23 March 2026 received on 25th March 2026, stating that regulatory action will be initiated. Timing of The referral laboratory received the sample on 09 Referral referral March 2026 and analysed it between 10 and 16 March laboratory report analysis 2026, about two months after the best-before date marked on the sample. On 24 April 2026, the Company submitted a representation to FSSAI against the referral laboratory report, highlighting the significant variations between the reports of the primary and referral laboratories. As on date of this clarification, the Company has not received any formal order of prosecution or sanction or any communication from FSSAI post our representation to them. The Company respects the role of FSSAI and is committed to cooperating fully with it, including by making available any records, samples or information that FSSAI may require, so that the facts of this matter are fully established. This is without prejudice to the Company's rights under law. Quality and consumer safety are top priorities for the Company. Each batch of milk undergoes stringent quality and safety testing before release to ensure it meets applicable food safety standards. There is no financial or operational impact on the company at this point of time. The Company will disclose any material development in this matter under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
