The historic signing ceremony was graced by Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary, MoP&NG, and Shri V. Ponnuraj, Director General, DGH. From OIL, Director (Operation), Shri Trailukya Borgohain and his team represented the distinguished occasion. Spread across 272.14 sq. km in the Singrauli Coalfield region, the Special Coal Bed Methane (CBM) Block SR-ONHP-(CBM)-2026/1 exhibits promising geological prospects, with expected coal seam depths of 600- 800 metres and an average seam thickness of around 40 metres.
