He began his career in 1989 as an engineer in Tektronix and grew thru multiple engineering and quality roles at organisations including C-DOT, Samsung and APC by Schneider Electric. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur, and an MS in Manufacturing Management from BITS Pilani, and has completed leadership programmes at Harvard Business and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Prior to joining IL JIN, Mr. Singh served as Chief Executive Officer of Syrma SGS Technology Limited, a listed Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company, where he led the newly merged and listed entity and drove significant revenue growth and improvement in profitability by shifting the portfolio towards higher-margin segments such as automotive, industrial, and railways. Earlier, Mr. Singh spent 15 years in global leadership roles at Nokia across manufacturing, strategy and supply chain, including building and scaling India's largest telecom infrastructure manufacturing facility in Chennai into a billion-euro global supply hub serving more than 35 countries. He subsequently held global roles in strategy, business operations and hardware service delivery, with his last role based in Finland overseeing global hardware services across more than 50 countries. He also spent several years at Flex International, where he built and scaled its mobile manufacturing business in India across Chennai, Bangalore and Pondicherry, with full P&L responsibility.
