Strong operating performance, higher renewable energy integration and strategic growth projects reinforce the Company's long-term value creation roadmap. The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on 23rd July, 2026 at Ahmedabad approved the Unaudited Financial Results for the 1st quarter ended on 30th June, 2026 on standalone as well as consolidated basis. Smt. Avantika Singh, IAS, Managing Director of the Company said "GACL delivered a strong start to FY 2026-27, achieving its highest ever Quarterly Sales revenue for the 1st Quarter of Financial Year 2026-27 has increased by Rs.151.39 Crores (i.e. by 14%) to Rs.1,224.84 Crores as compared to Rs.1,073.45 Crores of the corresponding quarter of Previous year. She further shared that during this quarter; the Company could achieve highest ever quarterly revenue on account of product mix optimization to increase realization and expanding product footprint through new export markets. EBITDA for the quarter increased by Rs.104 Crores (i.e. by 83%) to Rs.229 Crores as compared to EBITDA of Rs.125 Crores for the corresponding quarter of previous year. Profit Before Tax for the quarter has increased by Rs.100 Crores (i.e. by 1000%) to Rs.110 Crores as compared to Profit Before Tax of Rs.10 Crores for the corresponding quarter of previous year. Energy is continued focus area for the Company and during the first quarter of FY 2026-27, the Company could reduce energy costs as compared to corresponding quarter of previous year on account of increased share of renewable power. During the first quarter of FY 2026-27, the share of renewable energy has increased to 59% from 39%. This aligns with the Board's directive to expand renewable power usage and supports India's net-zero carbon commitments." She further said "The Board of Directors also granted in-principle approval for one more HCL synthesis Unit at Dahej with approximate project cost of Rs.55 Crores. This HCL synthesis Unit will further enhance better chlorine utilization and thus would enable the Company to optimize production of Caustic Soda at Dahej. Further, the Board has already approved to establish Phosphoric Acid plant at Dahej and therefore, the additional HCL to be generated from this HCL synthesis Unit would be utilized in the said Phosphoric Acid Plant.
