The aforesaid Special Window is available for transfer requests related to physical shares that were sold or purchased before 1st April, 2019. The Special Window shall also be available for such transfer requests which were submitted earlier and were rejected/returned/not attended to due to deficiency in the documents/process/or otherwise. Further, cases involving disputes between the transferor and transferee, as well as shares which have been transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund, will not be processed during this window. It may be noted that requests which are accompanied by the original share certificate(s) along with transfer deed(s) and other supporting documents as per SEBI Circular will only be considered under the Special Window. Shares transferred during this window shall be mandatorily credited to the transferee only in demat mode and shall be under lock-in for a period of one year from the date of registration of transfer. During this period, such shares cannot be transferred, lien-marked or pledged.
