Accordingly, Ms. Sarita Chauhan has been appointed as Government Director on the Board of Directors of NMDC Steel Limited with effect from 12.10.2026. Brief Profile: Ms. Sarita Chauhan is a senior civil servant belonging to 1999 batch of the Indian Administrative Service - AGMUT Cadre. At present, she is serving as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. Ms. Sarita Chauhan is not related to any other Director on the Board of NMDC Steel Limited. She is not disqualified to act as a Director under the provisions of Section 164 of the Companies Act, 2013.
