Ministry of Steel (MoS), Government of India vide Order No. S-14011/1/2022-BLA dated 12.10.2026 has communicated the appointment of Ms. Sarita Chauhan, Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Steel as Government Director on the Board of NMDC Limited with immediate effect or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Accordingly, Ms. Sarita Chauhan has been appointed as Government Director on the Board of Directors of NMDC Limited w.e.f. 12.10.2026. Brief Profile: Ms. Sarita Chauhan is a senior civil servant belonging to 1999 batch of the Indian Administrative Service - AGMUT Cadre. At present, she is serving as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. It is informed that Ms. Chauhan is not related to any other Director on the Board of NMDC Limited. Further, she is not disqualified to act as a Director under the provisions of Section 164 of the Companies Act, 2013.
