The Corporation has now received a Notice from The Tamil Nadu Forest Department calling for objections and giving opportunity of hearing in the matter. Disclosures as required under Listing Regulations read with SEBI Master Circular HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated 30th January 2026 are enclosed herewith as Annexure - I. The Tamil Nadu Forest Department dispute/litigation; has issued a notice giving a provisional computation of Rs. 6,462.12 crore, which is subject to consideration of the Corporation’s objections and final determination by a reasoned order in accordance with law. Expected financial implications, if any, due to The Company’s liability, if any, has not yet compensation, penalty etc.; been crystallized. The Company reserves its right to contest any order before the appropriate appellate and judicial forums, as may be permissible under applicable law. Accordingly, the Company’s liability, if any, shall remain subject to the final adjudication of the matter by the competent judicial forum. At this stage, it would therefore be premature to quantify or assess the financial implications, if any, arising from the Notice.
