Brief Profile Narottam Sharma is a technology professional with over two decades of
(in case of experience in business and digital transformation. He brings deep expertise in
appointment) enterprise-wide digital transformation, AI-led operating model redesign, and large-
scale process reengineering. He has led large-scale, cross-functional
transformations spanning core business operations, supply chain, and corporate
functions.
He is currently at Jubilant FoodWorks, as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and has
bridged the gap between high-level strategy and business execution. He
simplified processes, optimized capital and operational expenditure, delivering
significant, recurring bottom-line savings and margin expansion without
compromising on innovation.
Prior to joining Jubilant, Narottam held a senior transformation leadership role at
Mastek, where he drove a multi-track enterprise transformation agenda to support
business growth. He led initiatives across organizational intelligence, COE setup,
process transformation, people supply chain, and order-to-cash redesign. He
implemented ServiceNow to enable customer service management and internal
workflows. Prior to this, Narottam served as Chief Transformation Officer and
Chief Information Officer at Sterlite. He led enterprise-wide technology and
business transformation for a 27-year legacy organization, with a mandate to
enable 10x growth.
He holds an MBA degree from MDI, Gurgaon and a Bachelors, Information
System from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.

Tata Communications Appoints Narottam
Sharma as Chief Transformation Officer
Mumbai, INDIA
Tata Communications, a leading communications technology player, today announced the
appointment of Narottam Sharma as Chief Transformation Officer. He will take charge of
the new role from September 2026 and will be a part of the Global Management Committee
at the company.
A seasoned technology leader with more than two decades of experience, Narottam brings
great expertise in enterprise-wide digital transformation, AI-led operating model redesign,
large-scale process reengineering, and technology-driven business transformation.
Throughout his career, he has successfully led complex, cross-functional transformation
programs spanning core business operations, supply chain, customer experience, and
corporate functions, delivering significant business impact through technology and
innovation.
Commenting on the appointment, Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, MD & CEO, Tata

transformation agenda to support business growth and scale. Earlier in his career, Narottam
served as Head Technology Transformation at Sterlite, where he led enterprise-wide
business and technology transformation initiatives for the organisation’s 27-year legacy
operations.
