Thanking you, Yours Faithfully For Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (Shailesh Bansal) Company Secretary & Compliance Officer Annexure-I Shri Anindya Biswas, DS & Director RCI is renowned for his R&D efforts towards indigenous design, development and production hand holding of various state of the art avionic sub-systems for different indigenous missiles developed in the country. He joined DRDO in the year 1992 and since then he has played a vital role towards the indigenous design & development of several missile systems in programme, mission and technology development modes. These include glide bombs, anti-radiation missiles, surface to air missiles, very short-range air defence, ballistic missile defence, anti-ship missiles, surface to surface long range missiles, unmanned aerial vehicle launched missiles, anti-tank missiles, etc. He has worked towards establishing an agile work culture for the development of several enabling and disruptive technologies required for futuristic weapon systems. Several new efforts including task teams with a pool of young scientists, continued academia support through resident postgraduate students & regular startups/ entrepreneur outreach etc are contributing significantly in realizing cost effective & futuristic solutions in short duration of time. For his distinguished contributions, he has been conferred with DRDO Young Scientists Award and Scientist of the Year Award. He has done his graduation in Electronics and Telecommunications from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur and M. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He is not related to any other director of the Company and does not hold shares in the Company.
