Some test our strategy. Some test its ability to stay steady during tidal shifts. For Avanti, FY 26 became a year of moving through changing trade equations, uncertain market signals, rising input pressures and shifting global economic trends – with clarity and consistency. Through changing tides, the course remained clear. -- -, . ' Sri Alluri Venkateswara Rao 1933-2002 Founder–Chairman | Avanti Group Legacy as Our Compass Every enduring journey begins with direction. At Avanti, that direction was set by our Founder, Sri Alluri Venkateswara Rao through values that continue to guide the Company across changing times: integrity, responsibility, resilience and inclusive progress. His vision did not merely build an enterprise. It created a way of working – one that places trust before transaction, quality before compromise, and long-term value before short-term advantage. As Avanti enters new markets, strengthens new categories and navigates new possibilities, this legacy remains our compass. It keeps the Company anchored in purpose, even as it charts growth across changing tides. Growth Charting Changing Tides. Across There are years that reward momentum. And there are years that test conviction. FY 2025–26 was the second kind. Trade equations rewrote themselves during the year. Tariff structures in key export markets altered established demand patterns. Geopolitical tensions in West Asia dis- rupted shipping routes, extended transit timelines, and raised freight and insurance costs. Across markets, uncertainty travelled faster than cargo. The tides were changing. Avanti was charting. A Test of Adaptability What emerged through this period of transition was not merely a test of scale – it was a test of adaptability. The ability to respond to change without losing direction. Even as parts of the environment remained volatile, the fundamentals of global seafood demand stayed intact. Consumption patterns evolved. Supply chains recalibrated. Markets adjusted. And within that movement, Avanti stayed firmly anchored in what has always defined the Company: product quality, farmer engagement, and the depth of relationship that does not fracture under pressure. In an industry where confidence at the farm level is everything, consistency became the Company’s greatest competitive advantage. 6 | Annual Report 2025-26 The Feed business grew profitability by 8% on a near-flat revenue base – while cutting feed prices to support farmers. The Processing business grew revenues by 43% through a year when the largest single export market imposed a 50% tariff. Earnings Per Share grew 12.75%. The balance sheet: remained strong with negligible debt. These are not numbers that survive a difficult year. These are numbers that grow through one. Resilience, today, is not built through capacity alone. It is built through adaptability, market intelligence, and the willingness to move before the tide forces you to. The Chart Ahead The year also marked a decisive shift in the Company’s export geography. Avanti expanded its presence across Japan, Korea, the European Union, the Middle East and Canada – building the market depth that makes a business genuinely resilient, not merely large. When one door narrows, another window is already open. And beyond the core, Avanti is opening new waters entirely. The Avant Furst pet care brand – built on thirty years of expertise in nutrition, sourcing, processing and quality – is entering a fast-growing consumer category with long-term structural appeal. Revenue has scaled fourfold across the first three quarters of the year. A manufacturing facility near Hyderabad begins production in 2028. An European subsidiary is in progress. Every initiative is self-funded. The global aquaculture industry will keep evolving. Trade dynamics will shift. Supply chains will adapt. New geographies will open; familiar ones will change their terms. The businesses that create enduring value in this environment will not be the ones that simply move forward – but the ones that know how to navigate change. That is the knowledge Avanti carries. Thirty years deep. And it is precisely how the Company continues to chart its growth across changing tides. Corporate Overview | Statutory Reports | Financial Reports | Notice | 7 Currents Reading the Perspective The year in Reading the Currents FY 2025-26 was not a year of a single challenge. It was a year of multiple currents moving at once. A 50% tariff on Indian goods into the United States – the largest single shrimp export market – altered the economics of exports mid-year. West Asia-related disruptions rewired shipping routes, extended transit time lines, and raised freight and insurance costs. In the feed business, higher Peruvian fish catches eased fish meal prices significantly, helping moderate raw material pressures. The appreciation of the US dollar 8 | Annual Report 2025-26 provided support to export realisations, even as demand signals remained uneven across geographies. At the same time, the global shrimp market began to show signs of better pricing discipline and renewed demand across select destinations. For Avanti, the year demanded more than operational efficiency. It demanded judgement. When to hold. When to recalibrate. When to protect farmer economics. • When to deepen customer relationships. When to build beyond the • familiar. The Company responded through disciplined execution, a wider market • approach, stronger value-added focus, and continued investment in future-facing categories. This was not growth in calm wate [Showing first 8,000 characters — download PDF for full document]
