The extension has been sought due to delays in finalization of accounts, completion of the statutory audit and preparation of the Annual Report for FY 2025-26 arising from labour unrest and operational disruptions at the Company's farm operations at Yelamanchili site in Andhra Pradesh. The 33rd AGM of the Company was held on April 30, 2025. In accordance with Section 96(1) of the Companies Act, 2013, the gap between two consecutive Annual General Meetings cannot exceed fifteen months. Accordingly, the Company is required to hold its 34th AGM on or before July 31, 2026. Considering the circumstances explained above, the Company has sought an extension of three months, i.e., up to October 31, 2026 for convening its 34th AGM.
