ended September 30, 2026.

Editor’s Synopsis
• Zinc India records highest first-half mined metal production for the sixth consecutive year at 539
KT, up 3% YoY and highest ever first half refined metal production at 524 KT, up 6% YoY.
• Highest-ever second quarter and first half chrome ore production, while ferrochrome production
grew 26% YoY to 24 KT.
• Port Business achieved highest-ever first half cargo handling.

o Record second quarter and first half mined metal production at 271 KT and 539 KT respectively, driven by
higher ore production.
o Refined metal production at 264 KT, up 7% YoY driven by additional capacity unlocked from
debottlenecking projects at Chanderiya & Dariba and 160 KTPA roaster at Debari and in line with plant
availability.
o Saleable silver production at 173 metric tonnes up 20% YoY, in line with production plan.

o Gamsberg production increased 1% QoQ to 46 KT; Gamsberg Phase 2 commissioned in Q2FY27 with
saleable production expected to start from Oct’26.
o Overall ZI production at 53 KT, up 9% QoQ with stabilisation of BMM plant operation.
