Due to certain infrastructural issues in addition to safety issues relating to the leased premises, the Company terminated the Lease Deed during the lock-in period, pursuant to which disputes arose between the parties. The disputes were referred to arbitration before the learned Sole Arbitrator. The Company on October 01, 2026, received the award dated September 30, 2026, passed by the sole arbitrator in favour of the Respondent and against the Company, determining an amount of INR ~ 8.26 crore, along with applicable interest and costs. 3 Expected financial implications, if any, The Arbitral Award involves an amount of due to compensation, penalty etc.; INR ~ 8.26 crore, along with applicable interest and costs. The Company had already written off fit-outs in its books and if the award is conclusively determined against the Company, the total net incremental cost impact on the Company is not anticipated to exceed INR 6.3 Crore (including applicable interest).
