Press Release ADF Foods to install 950 KWp Rooftop Solar Plant at Surat Facility Mumbai, October 02, 2026: ADF Foods Limited ("ADF"), a leading manufacturer and exporter of ethnic Indian food products, has signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction ("EPC") contract with CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Limited ("CleanMax") to install a 950 KWp rooftop solar power plant at its manufacturing facility at Surat, Gujarat. The plant will be owned by ADF under the CAPEX model. The plant is expected to meet approximately 46% of the Surat facility's energy requirements through renewable power generated and consumed on site. Commissioning is targeted by end of this year. The project is in addition to the 2 MW hybrid wind and solar power purchase agreement signed earlier this year for ADF's Nadiad facility, extending the Company's renewable energy initiatives to Surat. Commenting on the development, Mr. Bimal Thakkar, Chairman and Managing Director and CEO, said: “Following our commitment to hybrid renewable power at Nadiad earlier this year, we are taking the next step by investing in our own solar capacity at Surat. Generating power on site will increase our use of renewable energy and is expected to lower our electricity costs. This investment brings together our focus on operational efficiency and our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, in line with India’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2070.” The project forms part of ADF's broader ESG initiatives focused on renewable energy adoption and responsible manufacturing.
