National Stock Exchange of India Limited : BAJAJELEC - Series: EQ Listing Department Exchange Plaza, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai 400 051 Sub.: Disclosure under Regulation 30 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosures Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended (“SEBI Listing Regulations”) at Bajaj Electricals Limited (“Company”) Dear Sir/Madam, Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with sub-para 8 of Para B and/or sub-para 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations, and in accordance with the Company’s Policy on Determination of Materiality for Disclosure of Events or Information, and further to our earlier communication dated February 4, 2025, whereby the Company had informed about the receipt of an assessment order dated January 28, 2025, issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi South Division (“GST Authority”) under Section 74 of the Jharkhand State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, read in conjunction with the relevant sections of the CGST Act, 2017 and the IGST Act, 2017, imposing a penalty of Rs. 32.50 lakh and interest of Rs. 8.46 Lakh on account of alleged non-payment of interest on the reversal of GST Input Tax Credit in Form GSTR-3B for the FY 2017-18 (“Assessment Order”), we hereby provide the following update: • The Company has received a favourable order for FY 2017-18, issued by the Office of the Commissioner (Appeals), Central Goods and Service Tax & Central Excise, Ranchi, Jharkhand (“Appellate Authority”), which was received by the Company on October 1, 2026, at 12:05 p.m. (“Appeal Order”). Through the Appeal Order, the Appellate Authority annulled the Assessment Order, waived the entire penalty amount of Rs. 32.50 lakh and redetermined the interest amount by reducing it from Rs. 8.46 lakh to Rs. 1.28 lakh. Please note that the revised interest of Rs. 1.28 lakh has already been discharged by the Company during the appellate proceedings. The financial impact of this order is limited solely to the aforesaid relief granted and interest amount paid as per the Appeal Order, with no other impact on the operational, financial, or other activities of the Company. We request you to take the above on record and treat it as compliance under the applicable provisions of the SEBI Listing Regulations, if any.
