Electricals Limited (“Company”)
Dear Sir/Madam,
Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with sub-para 8 of Para B and/or sub-para 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of
the SEBI Listing Regulations, and in accordance with the Company’s Policy on Determination of Materiality for
Disclosure of Events or Information, and further to our earlier communication dated March 31, 2024, whereby the
Company had informed about the receipt of an assessment order on December 30, 2023, issued by the Deputy
Commissioner, Ranchi, Jharkhand (“GST Authority”) under Section 73 of the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017,
imposing a gross demand amounting to Rs.29.63 lakh, which, inter alia, included a general penalty of Rs.2.69 lakh,
on account of disallowance of Input Tax Credit (ITC)(“Assessment Order”), we hereby provide the following update:
• The Company has received a favourable appellate order for FY 2017-18, issued by the Office of the
Commissioner (Appeals), Central Goods and Service Tax & Central Excise, Ranchi, Jharkhand (“Appellate
Authority”), which was received by the Company on October 1, 2026, at 12:04 p.m. (“Appeal Order”). By way
of the said Appeal Order, the Appellate Authority set aside the Assessment Order passed by the GST Authority
and dropped the above gross demand amounting to Rs.29.63 lakh, which, inter alia, included a general penalty
of Rs.2.69 lakh.
The financial impact of this order is limited solely to the aforesaid relief granted under the Appeal Order, with no
other impact on the operational, financial, or other activities of the Company on account of this Appeal
Order/assessment.
We request you to take the above on record and treat it as compliance under the applicable provisions of the SEBI
Listing Regulations, if any.
