No. Particulars Details 1. Brief details of litigation viz. On September 30, 2026, WeWork India Management name(s) of the opposing Limited (‘the Company’) received a Show Cause-Cum- party, court/ tribunal/agency Demand notice (‘SCN’) dated September 29, 2026. The where litigation is filed, brief notice was issued by the Additional Commissioner, In- details of dispute/litigation charge of Division IV, Office of the Principal Commissioner of CGST & CX, Mumbai East, under Section 74(1) of the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017, read with the corresponding provisions of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (MGST) Act, 2017, and Section 20 of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) Act, 2017. The SCN requires the Company to show cause regarding the alleged excess availment and utilization of Input Tax Credit (ITC). The allegation arises from the difference between ITC claimed in the Annual Return (FORM GSTR-9) and ITC reflected in the audited financial statements/books of accounts, thereby alleging contraventions of the CGST Act, MGST Act and IGST Act. The SCN, inter alia, provides as under: 1. Disallowance and recovery of ITC amounting to ₹11,01,28,801/-, comprising: ₹5,95,97,913/- (IGST) ₹2,52,65,444/- (CGST) ₹2,52,65,444/- (SGST) for the period April 2021 to March 2023, under Section 74(1) of the CGST Act, read with the corresponding provisions of the MGST Act and Section 20 of the IGST Act. 2. Applicable interest on the above demand under Section 50(3) read with Section 74(1) of the CGST Act, read with the corresponding provisions of the MGST Act and Section 20 of the IGST Act. 3. Applicable penalty on the above demand under Section 74(1) read with Section 122(2)(b) of the CGST Act, read with the corresponding provisions of the MGST Act and Section 20 of the IGST Act. Expected financial The Company believes that the Show Cause-Cum-Demand implications, if any, due to Notice (SCN) has been issued without adequately compensation, penalty etc. considering the merits of the case. The Company is in the process of submitting a detailed response to the SCN within the prescribed statutory timelines, adequately substantiating the legitimate reasons for the reconciliation differences in the ITC between the Annual Returns and audited books of accounts. Accordingly, the Company does not envisage any material impact on its financials, operations, or other activities at this stage. 3. Quantum of claims, if any As specified under Point 1 above.
