The agreement marks a decisive step in the commercialization of Knovea’s DCV platform. Knovea will lead development, regulatory submissions, manufacturing and supply, while the partner drives commercialization and distribution across the U.S. — bringing established market access and commercial scale to Knovea's platform. The collaboration is structured to deliver milestone payments through development, regulatory approval and commercial launch, alongside profit- sharing from launch onwards. A DCV keeps a drug, and its diluent separate until they're combined at the point of care — protecting the stability of sensitive formulations while simplifying preparation for healthcare professionals, with fewer handling steps and sterility maintained through administration. Together, the two products address a U.S. market estimated at approximately US$288 million. The innovator is currently the only company with a DCV presentation in this market — underscoring the commercial opportunity for differentiated DCV presentations in injectables.
