Mr. Virat Sunil Diwanji will assume charge as Additional Executive Director of the Bank with effect from October 12, 2026 on the terms and conditions including remuneration as approved by Reserve Bank of India. The appointment of Mr. Virat Sunil Diwanji is subject to approval of shareholders within a period of 3 months from the date of assuming charge. Mr. Virat Sunil Diwanji is not debarred/ disqualified from holding the office of Director by virtue of any Order of Securities and Exchange Board of India or any other such authority. He currently leads the Bank's Consumer Banking business, encompassing Branch Banking, Retail Liabilities, Retail Assets, Wealth Management, Business Banking, Digital Centre of Excellence, Customer Experience, Service Quality, Recovery, and Collections. He joined Federal Bank after a distinguished track record of 30+ years with Kotak Mahindra Group, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Group President & Head - Consumer Bank. He currently also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Ageas Federal Life Insurance Company Limited.
