He is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of professional experience. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in the year 2002. He is the recipient of numerous awards which include EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award, CA Lifetime Achievement Award and the CA Global Achiever Award by ICAI, ET Telecom Lifetime Achievement Award and the Tele.Net Outstanding Contribution to Infrastructure and Telecom Development Award. His book ‘Some Sizes Fit All’ on management has been published by Penguin Random House.
