Sub: Clarification on the news item published in “https://www.moneycontrol.com”
dated June 25, 2026 captioned “Tata Motors, Stellantis on verge of
finalising partnership”.
We invite your kind attention to our letter bearing sc no. 18945 dated June 23, 2026 vide which
the Audio Link of the Investor Day held on June 23, 2026 submitted to the Stock Exchanges.
The captioned news item published refers to the aforesaid Investor Day discussion.
With reference to your email / letter dated June 25, 2026 seeking clarification / confirmation in
respect of the above-mentioned news item, we would like to submit point-wise clarification
as under:
1. Whether such negotiations were taking place? If so, you are advised to provide the
said information along with the sequence of events in chronological order from the
start of negotiations till date.
- Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (formerly Tata Motors Limited) (‘the Company’),
and Stellantis share a long-standing partnership of over two decades through Fiat India
Automobiles Private Limited (FIAPL), a joint venture engaged in multi-brand vehicle
manufacturing in India.
Building on this long-standing relationship, the Company and Stellantis entered into a
Non-Binding Memorandum of Understanding (‘MOU’) on February 10, 2026 to explore
potential opportunities for collaboration across manufacturing, engineering and supply
chain areas. A Press Release on signing of MOU was also issued by the Company. The
discussions are ongoing and no definitive agreement has been agreed upon / executed
between the parties as on date.
Accordingly, there are no negotiations or events which are price sensitive requiring
disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure
Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (‘SEBI Listing Regulations’). The Company shall make
requisite disclosures as and when any material development occurs requiring disclosure.
2. Whether you/company are aware of any information that has not been announced
to the Exchanges which could explain the aforesaid movement in the trading?
- We confirm that we are not aware of any new information or development that has not
been disclosed to the Stock Exchanges which, in our opinion, may have a bearing on the
price/volume movement of the Company’s securities.
3. In case of regulatory/legal proceedings please provide the information on initiation/
outcome of the proceedings
- There are no regulatory or legal proceedings initiated or concluded which require
disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulation.
