Annual Report
MESSAGE FROM THE CMD
Dear Shareholders, Partners, & our Global Teams,
I am pleased to present to you the Annual Report of Brightcom Group for
FY2025–26. This has been a year of meaningful progress and, equally
importantly, a year of evolution for Brightcom. We strengthened our core
business, improved our financial performance, sharpened our organizational
structure and began building capabilities in new technology-led areas. But I
believe the more important story is not simply what we achieved during the
year. It is what we are building for the years ahead. For more than 28 years,
Brightcom has operated at the intersection of technology, data, audiences
and digital media. The technology landscape around us, however, continues
to change rapidly.
So the question we ask ourselves is not simply:
How do we remain the company we were?
It is:
How do we remain relevant to the next technology cycle?
That question is at the heart of the evolution taking place at Brightcom. A
Stronger Financial Foundation. Our financial performance during FY2025–26
provides a solid foundation for this next phase. Consolidated Revenue from
Operations reached ₹6,928.06 crores, representing a 34.6% year-on-year
increase, while Profit After Tax increased by 35.5% to ₹962.33 crores.
Our focus, however, is not only on the growth of revenue and profits. We are
increasingly focused on the quality and efficiency of that growth. Our Return
on Equity stood at 9.19%, while Return on Capital Employed improved to
13.53%. We are also placing greater emphasis on working capital, receivables
and cash generation. Ultimately, a company’s reported profits need to
translate into cash, and we believe that quality of earnings matters as much
as growth in earnings. This will remain an important area of focus as we move
forward.

Annual Report
Building the Next Version of Brightcom
There is something I believe strongly: You cannot build the future by simply repairing the past. You have to build
the next version of the company. That is what our four-division structure is intended to achieve. Our established
AdTech business remains the economic foundation of Brightcom. Around that foundation, we are developing
Services as an additional technology capability, Defence as an emerging strategic business, and NextGen as a
longer-term technology opportunity. These businesses are at different stages of development, and it is important
to be transparent about that. We do not intend to present future possibilities as though they are today’s
earnings. We are building them. Each business will need to demonstrate capability, customer interest and
commercial traction, and earn the right to receive greater investment. That is how we intend to approach growth
—with ambition, but also with discipline.
AdTech — Our Core, and Still an Evolving Opportunity
Our AdTech business remains at the heart of Brightcom. There is sometimes a tendency to think of digital
advertising as a mature industry. I do not agree. Connected TV, retail media, audio, digital out-of-home,
programmatic infrastructure and audience intelligence are all creating new opportunities. At the same time, the
underlying technology architecture of digital advertising continues to evolve. AI is increasingly becoming an
intelligence layer across this ecosystem—changing how audiences are understood, how inventory is valued, how
campaigns are optimized and how decisions are made. This is not simply another technology upgrade. It is a
change in how the digital economy works. Our objective is therefore not to do more of the same. It is to use the
capabilities we have built over the years to participate in where digital media is going next. We do not need to
own every piece of this ecosystem. We need to be very good at the pieces we choose to own. Our priorities are
straightforward: better technology, better monetization, better revenue quality, better margins and better cash
conversion. Our Online Media Solutions (OMS) division continues to strengthen its position in the global supply-
side ecosystem. Its recognition by industry participants, together with the rollout of our next-generation 100% Fill
Technology, reflects our continuing investment in publisher monetization and technology infrastructure. Our
global presence is a strong advantage, with active commercial engagement across North America, Europe,
APAC, Latin America, and the Middle East. Collaborations with partners including Dailymotion Advertising,
HUMAN Security and Azerion further demonstrate our ability to build and scale relationships across the global
digital ecosystem.
Building Today and Tomorrow
One of the things which I believe is interesting about Brightcom is that we are not a startup beginning with an
idea and looking for a business model. We have an established operating business, customers, technology, global
relationships and engineering capabilities. And now we are using that foundation to build new capabilities.
We can build today and tomorrow at the same time. Our AdTech business gives us the operating foundation.
Services expands our technology capabilities. Defence creates a new strategic opportunity. NextGen gives us
longer-term optionality. These are not four businesses at the same stage. They have different timelines and
different objectives. But together, they provide Brightcom with the ability to participate in the technology cycles
that are shaping th
