The strategy remains in line with QMS’s pursuit of expanding its product portfolio with a presence in value- added segments. The acquisition aligns with fortifying the company’s product business, now the primary segment following the demerger of the services business into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Saarathi Healthcare. QMS also combined its Patient Services Program (PSP) portfolio with Health Care at Home (HCAH) and will merge it under Saarathi, creating a dedicated services portfolio company which will also be listed. The acquisition of BeamOptics will be finalised subject to mutual fulfilment of terms and conditions & post NCLT approval of the composite scheme of arrangement with HCAH.
