informed that Sesa Mining Corporation Limited (“SMCL”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sesa Resources Limited
which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vedanta Iron And Steel Limited (“VISL” or “Company”) has received an
Order on September 25, 2026, at around 11:52 am IST from Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (RPFC), Goa
levying a surcharge of ₹ 2,40,284/- for FY 2023–24 towards deviation from notified investment pattern.
SMCL has a good case on merits against the above Order and is examining the same to explore further legal
remedies, including challenging the order before the appropriate forum.
The Company does not envisage any material impact on the Company/SMCL’s business or operations.
The details as required to be provided under Regulation 30 and sub-para 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of
the SEBI Listing Regulations, read with SEBI Master Circular No. SEBI circular HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-
POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026, are enclosed as “Annexure I”.
