MEDIA STATEMENT
There are news reports circulating on social media and other news platforms that makes
incorrect claims about damage to 13 BESS containers at ACME Suryodaya BESS facility in
Pokhran, Rajasthan. The claim is grossly incorrect as only four power conversion systems
(PCS) were affected on account of a localized fire on account of IGBT/short circuit. There has
been no damage to any of BESS containers at this facility. The incident was promptly brought
under control by our in-house fire safety teams in accordance with established safety
protocols.
Overall, the total revenue loss is not material and is estimated to be around INR 20 Lakhs.
The damaged equipment’s are in the process of being restored from spares within a week.
