Reporting boundary - Are the disclosures under this report made on a standalone basis (i.e. only for the entity) or on a consolidated basis (i.e. for the entity and all the entities which form a part of its consolidated financial statements, taken together): • The disclosures under this report are for Siemens Limited on a standalone basis. The reporting boundary for FY 2024 and FY 2026 also includes Permanent Establishments (PE), Right-of-Use (RoU) Assets and warehouses. Where actual data is not available, an area-based extrapolation has been done to arrive at the disclosures. Throughout the report the term “Siemens” is used for “Siemens Limited”. For references to Siemens AG the term “Siemens AG” is used. • Pursuant to receipt of necessary statutory approvals and in accordance with the Scheme approved by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal (the “NCLT”), the Holding Company (Siemens Limited) has demerged the Energy business effective 25 March 2025, with the appointed date being 1 March 2025 (Refer Note 59.1 to the Audited Standalone Financial Statements of the Annual Report). Further, pursuant to the requirements of the Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), the Company’s Energy business up to the appointed date of demerger has been disclosed as discontinued operations. Accordingly, for the purpose of this reporting, the financial and operational details relating to the Energy business have been excluded with effect from 1 March 2025. • The Company has approved the slump sale of its LVM business to Innomotics India Private Limited, subject to customary conditions and approvals, including CCI. The transaction is in the process of completion till March 31, 2026. Accordingly, under Ind AS 105, the LVM business has been classified as discontinued operations in the Standalone Statement of Profit and Loss. BRSR disclosures include these discontinued operations (refer Note 59.2 of the Audited Standalone Financial Statements). • The Company’s financial year has been changed to a uniform financial year commencing on 1st April of every year and ending on 31st March of the following year, including observing a one-time transitional financial year from 1st October 2024 to 31st March 2026 (18 months).
