This is to inform you that the Company and Mr. Nikhil Desai, CEO and Managing Director of the Company, have received an order from Commissioner of Customs (NS-I), JNCH, Nhava Sheva interalia, directing confiscation of the seized goods, imposition of redemption fine, penalty and a demand of differential Customs duty, together with applicable interest thereon. The details pursuant to sub-para 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III read with SEBI Master Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026, are provided below: Sr. Particulars Details 1. Name of the authority Commissioner of Customs (NS-I), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House (JNCH), Nhava Sheva. 2. Nature and details of the action(s) The Adjudicating Authority, vide its Order dated taken or order(s) passed September 24, 2026, has passed the following against the Company & its CEO & Managing Director: 1. Rejected the declared description/classification of the imported goods as "Dimethyl Lauryl Amine (DMLA)" under CTH 29212990, and re-classified the goods Farmin DM 2465/Fentamine DMA 1268/1269 (a Cationic Surface Active Agent) under CTH 34021200 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. 2. Confiscated, under Section 111(m) of the Customs Act, 1962, the seized goods weighing 171.444 MTs valued at Rs. 2,30,34,882/-, with an option of redemption on payment of a fine of Rs. 25,00,000/- under Section 125(1) ibid. 3. Confirmed demand and recovery of differential duty of Rs. 11,10,373/- under Section 28(4) of the Customs Act, 1962, along with applicable interest under Section 28AA ibid. 4. Held the goods weighing 2,275.963 MTs valued at Rs. 34,88,31,865/- liable for confiscation under Section 111(m), without imposition of redemption fine on account of non-availability of the goods. 5. Confirmed demand and recovery of differential duty of Rs. 1,42,87,031/- under Section 28(4) of the Customs Act, 1962, along with applicable interest under Section 28AA ibid. 6. Appropriated a sum of Rs. 2,25,31,731/- already paid by the Company towards the differential duty and interest demanded at (3) and (5) above. 7. Imposed a penalty of Rs. 1,53,97,404/-, together with applicable interest, on the Company under Section 114A of the Customs Act, 1962. 8. Directed enforcement and encashment of the Bond of Rs. 2,76,35,214/- executed by the Company, together with Bank Guarantee(s) of Rs. 35,00,000/- issued by Axis Bank Limited, towards the duty, interest, fine and penalty liability. 9. Imposed a penalty of Rs. 10,00,000/- on Mr. Nikhil Desai, Director of the Company, under Section 112(a) of the Customs Act, 1962. 10. Imposed a further penalty of Rs. 10,00,000/- on Mr. Nikhil Desai, under Section 114AA of the Customs Act, 1962. 3.
