Asian Energy Services Ltd (AESL) has secured a significant EPC contract valued at Rs 187.62 Crores (including GST) from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL). The project involves the capacity enhancement of a coal handling plant at the Ukai Thermal Power Station and will be executed over 2-3 years on a lump-sum EPC basis. This order is a strategic milestone for AESL as its first major project outside Coal India and its subsidiaries, signalling successful client base diversification and enhancing revenue visibility for the next two years.
