Chairman’s Desk – Expanding
Our Global Footprint
Dear Shareholders,
The financial year 2025–26 marked an
important milestone in Tanvi Foods (India)
Limited’s journey towards becoming a
globally recognised Indian frozen food
company. During the year, we made
significant progress in strengthening our
international presence, particularly in the
United States, while laying the foundation for
expansion into other strategic markets.
Our United States operations achieved considerable progress with the
successful establishment of five warehouses across key markets. This
network has strengthened our cold-chain capabilities and enabled us to
develop an efficient, direct-to-customer supply chain and distribution
model. By maintaining greater control over inventory, logistics, customer
service and market development, we have created a scalable platform to
support our future growth in the United States.
The Tanvi brand has gained encouraging acceptance in the US market.
During the year, our distribution network expanded to reach approximately
400 restaurants and 40 retail chains. This growing customer base reflects the
increasing demand for authentic, convenient and high-quality Indian
frozen foods among both food-service operators and retail consumers.
Our product development strategy continues to be guided by market
requirements. For the B2B segment, we are introducing products designed
to help restaurants maintain consistency, reduce preparation time, improve
operational efficiency and minimise dependency on specialised kitchen
manpower. In the retail segment, we are expanding our product portfolio in
response to evolving consumer preferences for authentic, convenient and
ready-to-cook Indian foods. The positive acceptance of our products gives
us confidence in the long-term potential of the Tanvi brand in the United
States.
Following the progress achieved in the US, we have commenced our
operations in the United Kingdom. Detailed market research has been
undertaken to understand consumer preferences, product demand, pricing,
distribution channels and the requirements of Indian restaurants and retail
stores. We believe that the UK presents a meaningful opportunity for Tanvi
Foods, supported by its substantial Indian diaspora and growing demand
for authentic ethnic frozen foods.
In the current financial year, we are also exploring business opportunities in
Singapore, Australia, Canada and the Middle East. These markets have been
identified based on their Indian and South Asian populations, established
ethnic food distribution networks and increasing preference for convenient
Indian food products. Our entry into these markets will be undertaken in a
calibrated manner, based on market potential, regulatory requirements,
operational feasibility and suitable distribution partnerships.
Our long-term objective is to establish Tanvi Foods as a trusted global
Indian food brand, supported by strong manufacturing capabilities in India
and an efficient international supply chain and distribution network. The
progress made during 2025–26 has strengthened our confidence in this
vision.
I sincerely thank our shareholders, customers, employees, business
partners, bankers and other stakeholders for their continued confidence and
support. Together, we look forward to expanding the global presence of
Tanvi Foods and creating sustainable value for all our stakeholders.
