No.: NSE/CM/Surveillance/17256; dated 13th July 2026 regarding the recent news item as highlighted by you which has appeared in the “www.economictimes.indiatimes.com” dated July 13, 2026, captioned “Akzo Nobel rejects Nippons $8.6 billion offer for paint business”. In this regard, please note that subsequent to our disclosure to the Stock Exchanges on 10th December 2025 regarding acquisition of erstwhile promoters’ (namely Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd. and Akzo Nobel Coatings International BV, subsidiaries of Akzo Nobel NV) shareholding in the then Akzo Nobel India Limited (now known as JSW Dulux Limited, hereinafter “the Company”) by JSW Paints Limited and the simultaneous disclosure (of the same date) pertaining to the consequent change in promoters of the Company from the aforesaid Akzo Nobel entities to JSW Paints Limited (effective 10th December 2025), the Company is no longer forming part of the Akzo Nobel NV and/or any of AkzoNobel group entities across the world. In light of the aforesaid, we cannot comment on the captioned news item as this does not pertain to us being part of JSW Group since 10th December 2025.
